Meet Joshua
Founder & Creative Director
For nearly a decade, I’ve been capturing and documenting love stories across Hawai‘i and beyond.
What started as a passion for filming ocean waves, drone landscapes, and creative storytelling evolved into something much deeper preserving once-in-a-lifetime moments for couples on the most meaningful day of their lives.
Over the past eight to nine years, I’ve had the honor of documenting weddings with intention, emotion, and artistry. My approach is rooted in presence understanding that these moments aren’t staged. They’re lived.
As the founder and creative director of Gali Productions, I lead with heart. Every wedding we document is approached with care, excellence, and aloha. My role isn’t just to capture beautiful visuals it’s to guide, support, and create an experience where you feel completely seen and celebrated.

Meet the ‘Ohana
Daniel Boretta
Lead Cinematographer
Aloha! My name is Daniel, and I’m proud to be born and raised on Maui. As the lead videographer for Gali Productions, I bring over 3 years of experience in capturing unforgettable moments on film. In addition to my work with Gali Productions, I also run my own film business, DBFilms, where I continue to pursue my passion for storytelling through videography and photography.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me focusing on fitness, exploring creative projects, and pushing my limits. In 2024, I achieved a personal milestone by completing the Honolulu Marathon a testament to my dedication and drive in all areas of life.

"When we got our photos & film, it felt like the wedding had just happened"
Our wedding was captured beautifully by the team but even before the big day, we went through such a seamless process with Josh. Josh was so great to work with and was impressed with his creative ideas. On the big day, we had the best team of photographers & videographers! They definitely knew what they were doing especially when things didn’t go as planned. While taking photos candid photos with our bridal party, they played music to make everyone feel comfortable and let loose. When we got our photos & film, it felt like the wedding had just happened. We were so impressed by the work that Josh & the team did that we couldn’t stop sharing the photos & film with our family & friends. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to capture our wedding day!
